At the end of February 2019 I visited the recipients of our first donation - a mobile cancer unit - Hope for Tomorrow. It was a privilege to meet those working there for the charity providing an enormously valuable service to people who are in a very vulnerable situation. Treating the whole person - holistically - whether it be with the geography of not having to drive to a hospital for chemotherapy, the comfort of a small number of people and the one to one in terms of nursing care along with the added bonus of aromatherapy made me feel that cancer which is pretty devastating can be manageable and even positive. I came away uplifted and with such grateful thanks for this charity providing such a wonderful service.
